2. Processing of Industrial Source Code (Zero-Storage Policy)

ST State Diagrammer is designed with a strict security policy for intellectual property:

No Database Storage: The industrial source code you upload or paste (such as IEC 61131-3 Structured Text or Ladder Logic) is not permanently stored in a database.

Immediate Destruction: The code is processed exclusively within the volatile memory (RAM) of the server to generate the AST analysis and graphical rendering. Immediately after the active session or analysis is terminated, the code is permanently and irretrievably deleted from the server.

3. Personal Data We Process

To create an account and use the SaaS service, we process the following minimal personal data:

• E-mail address (for login access, transactional e-mails, and support).
• Login credentials (securely encrypted using a modern hashing algorithm).
• Payment and billing details (securely processed via our external payment provider).

1. Purpose of the Software

ST State Diagrammer is an automated, deterministic analysis tool designed to visualize Structured Text and identify logical inconsistencies (such as unreachable states or un-stopped timers). The software functions solely as a supporting tool for software engineers and system integrators.

2. Exclusion of Liability (Industrial Risks)

No Warranty: Although the AST parser has been developed with the greatest possible care and utilizes a high validation score, State Diagrammer does not guarantee that the generated diagrams and validation reports are at all times 100% error-free, complete, or up-to-date.

Final Responsibility: The user (the engineer) remains fully and exclusively responsible at all times for checking, testing, validating, and commissioning the actual code on physical industrial installations, PLCs, machines, or operational technology (OT).

Consequential Damages: State Diagrammer (and its umbrella entity Variously) is under no circumstances liable for any direct or indirect damages, incidents, physical damage to machinery, production loss, factory downtime, lost profits, or fines resulting from the use of the software, the generated reports, or any cosmetic or logical misinterpretations by the parser.

Article 1. Definitions

Service: The online SaaS platform ST State Diagrammer, accessible via state-diagrammer.com.
User: The natural or legal person who creates an account on the platform.
Supplier: State Diagrammer, the company registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KVK number 76829596 (trade name of Variously).

Article 2. Credits and Pricing Model

Usage: Running analyses and exports on the platform requires 'credits'. The current rates for credit packs and subscriptions are stated on the website.

Basic Subscription (Expiration Policy): Upon subscribing to the Basic Plan, the user receives a fixed number of credits monthly. Unused credits at the end of the active billing month expressly expire and do not roll over to the next billing month.

Launch Packs and Single Credits: Credits purchased through a one-time promotion (such as the Launch Promo) or loose credit packs remain valid indefinitely as long as the user's account is active.

Article 3. Intellectual Property

Of the User: All intellectual property rights regarding the industrial source code entered or analyzed by the user remain unconditionally and at all times the property of the user (or their client).

Of the Supplier: All intellectual property rights of the software, the parser engine, the visualization methodology, the UI/UX, the report structures, and the brand name ST State Diagrammer remain the exclusive property of State Diagrammer (Variously). It is strictly forbidden to reverse-engineer the parser or copy the platform's source code.

Article 4. Fair Use and Security

The user is prohibited from overloading the infrastructure (VPS) of ST State Diagrammer, executing DDoS attacks, or using automated scripts (bots) to run bulk analyses outside the official user interface, unless express written permission has been granted for a client-specific Enterprise API connection. If abuse or hacking is detected, the account will be immediately and permanently blocked without any right to a refund.
